Tutoring and Educational Services:
A LifeLine Program
LifeLine Learning Center provides affordable, individualized tutoring, study skills classes and educational services for children with academic needs. Tutors are licensed teachers with classroom experience skilled in motivating students and strengthening areas of academic difficulty. For more info, see the learning center website at www.lifelinelearning.com.
LifeLine counselors sometimes use pet-assisted therapy with selected children and adults. Our loving, accepting dogs help people feel safe and comfortable talking about feelings and troubling situations in their lives. These very special animals have been an invaluable asset to our program. Pet-assisted therapy dogs do not participate in sessions where someone is uncomfortable with dogs or the dog's presence is not an aid to the therapeutic process.
