LifeLine Counseling Center is an organization dedicated to emotional and spiritual wellness. Our mission and purpose is to increase quality and enjoyment of life through education, support, enpowerment and inspiration. We are located in the Maryville/Knoxville area.   LifeLine Counseling services are available to assist those desiring life healing change regardless of religious affiliation. We serve both the Christian community and those without a church affiliation.   Our center is growing and we are in need of an additional compassionate, spiritually grounded full-time counselor. LifeLine has an excellent reputation for quality services delivered by our exceptional therapists.

Job Description:

Duties include counseling services to individuals, couples, children and families. Expected caseload is 30 sessions per week. Weekly availability for late appointments on two days is required. Position includes flexible hours with a furnished office in elegant surroundings. Office furnishings include netbook computer with high speed internet access. Professional liability insurance is provided by LifeLine. Compensation is commensurate with experience and caseload. Filing of insurance claims, billing, scheduling, and reminder calls are handled by LifeLine administrative office staff.

Position requirements:

The candidate must currently hold a Tennesssee license to provide mental health services and have at least two years post licensure experience. Applicants may be a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Psychologist with Health Service Provider designation or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Eligibility for insurance credentialing by most major insurance carriers is required. (Note: A provisional license or license eligibility without a current TN license is not sufficient for employment by LifeLine.)
