The Friendship Club features fun social games, role play, story-telling and other activities geared toward development of positive self-esteem and social skills development. The club offers children opportunities to learn ways to appropriately express feelings and manage anger. (See class activities and handouts below)

The Friendship Club helps children:

 

  • Develop self-confidence, social skills and peer confidence
  • Learn how to make and keep friends
  • Initiate and maintain conversation
  • Identify and approperiately express feelings
  • Resolve conflict and manage anger
  • Deal with bullying behavior
