Getting Kids Ready for the Real World addresses these topics for children of all ages:

 

Topics include:

 

  • Parenting methods that teach children to make wise choices
  • Responsiblity and accountability as a means of promoting self-esteem
  • Getting kids through tough times
  • The choices/consequences/reward approach to discipline
  • Effective encouragement for difficult children
  • Managing meltdown or rage
  • Dealing with problematic behavior
  • Co-parenting issues

Tuition: Classes are $10 per person for all three classes and includes handouts. The books Setting Limits with Your Strong-Willed Child and SOS for Parents are also available for $10 each.

 

On some dates, children of participants may attend the Kids Art and Soul classes running at the same time at the same location.
