Getting Kids Ready for the Real World addresses these topics for children of all ages:

  • Parenting methods that teach children to make wise choices
  • Responsiblity and accountability as a means of promoting self-esteem
  • Getting kids through tough times
  • The choices/consequences/reward approach to discipline
  • Effective encouragement for difficult children
  • Managing meltdown or rage

Tuition: Free of charge. Children of participants may attend the Kids Art and Soul classes running at the same time at Monte Vista. The fee for Kids Art and Soul is $15 per child for the three sessions. The books Setting Limits with Your Strong-Willed Child and SOS for Parents are also available for $10 each (books optional).
